  • Saturday, October 17, 2026. The ceremony begins at 3:30pm and the venue opens at 3:00pm. Get there early to save your seat.

    If the ceremony has started, guests will be asked to wait until cocktail hour begins to join the party.

  • The ceremony begins at 3:30 PM. Guests are welcome to arrive starting at 3:00 PM, and we kindly ask that you are seated by 3:15 PM so we can begin on time.

  • We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends. Due to space limitations, plus-ones are reserved for guests specifically named on the invitation.

  • While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows everyone to fully enjoy a fun and carefree evening.

  • Cocktail attire is encouraged. Think suits, dresses, jumpsuits, and celebration-worthy outfits!

    • Please note that the venue features a combination of paved areas, grass, and rustic stone walkways, so practical footwear is recommended.

    • Michigan autumn weather can be beautiful but unpredictable and the venue offers a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy, so a coat or wrap for the evening may come in handy.

  • The ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting), followed by dinner and dancing inside. Depending on the weather, some additional festivities or gathering spaces may also be set up outside for guests to enjoy.

  • Mid to late October in New Buffalo is classic fall weather—beautiful, crisp, and a little unpredictable in the best way. Daytime temperatures are typically mild, often in the upper 50s to low 60s, while evenings can dip into the 40s, especially once the sun goes down.

  • The ceremony and reception will be at the same venue, so once you arrive, you’re all set for the whole celebration.

  • Item descriphe closest airport is South Bend International (SBN), located about 40 minutes from the venue. Other options include Chicago Midway International (MDW), approximately 80 minutes away, Chicago O’Hare International (ORD), approximately 90 minutes away, Gerald R. Ford International (GRR), roughly 2 hours away,  Fort Wayne International (FWA), 2.5 hours away, and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County (DTW), about 3 hours away by car.

  • You can RSVP via our wedding website. Simply click on the RSVP tab, enter your name, and indicate your attendance. You will also select your meal preferences and detail any dietary restrictions.

  • Saturday, August 15, 2026. Please RSVP by August 15 to ensure we can finalize seating, catering, and weekend accommodations for all of our guests.

  • Yes, we have reserved blocks of rooms at Fairfield Inn and Suites - 11400 Holiday Dr, New Buffalo, MI 49117. When booking, mention our wedding code “JIA” for a discount. Please call (269) 586-2222 to make your reservation.

  • Reservations made after September 4, 2026, may no longer qualify for the discounted room block rate. If booking after the deadline, please mention our wedding code so the hotel can provide the most accurate accommodation possible.

  • If staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites - New Buffalo, MI (11400 Holiday Dr, New Buffalo, MI 49117) shuttle will be available. To see the shuttle schedule please visit the accommodations page. There are limited rideshare options but on-site parking.

  • If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please include them in your RSVP so we can work with our caterer to ensure you have safe and enjoyable options.

  • We recommend cocktail attire footwear.

    Because parts of the venue include grass and uneven stone paths, block heels, wedges, flats, or other stable footwear are great choices. We suggest avoiding stilettos that may sink or be difficult to walk in outdoors.

  • There is on-site parking along the private road and an overflow parking lot.

  • We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony so everyone can be fully in the moment with us. Please put phones and cameras away during this time, but from cocktail hour ‘til the dance floor—snap away! We’d love to see your photos from the celebration.

  • Absolutely! An open bar will be available. We just ask that everyone drinks responsibly and ensures they have a safe way to get home. (See: shuttle information on “Travel + Stay” tab)

    • Please note that our bartending staff are exceptionally creative and can make mocktails upon request.
